Solar Flares

FULL ARTICLE COMING SOON...

When magnetic fields in the sun momentarily destabilize the result is the largest explosion in the solar system. Solar flares bend the polar magnetic fields of the Earth and disrupt long-range radio communications. The largest recorded occurrence took place in 1859. Days after the event was witnessed, a massive Aurora brightened and colored the night sky, and continued to do so for three straight days.
